International visitors to Vietnam in December estimated 324,625 arrivals. Totally, international visitors in 12 months of year 2006 reached 3,583,486 arrivals. 3% higher than those in the same period of year 2005.
To help countries in the Greater Mekong Sub-region develop tourism from 2006-2015, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will fund a Technical Support for Sustainable Tourism Development in the Greater Mekong Sub-region project. The meeting was called to solve problems to pave the way for tourism growth.
