Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien welcomes France Ambassador in Viet Nam

(TITC) – On December 6, in Ha Noi, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien had a meeting with Mr. Bertrand Lortholary, France Ambassador in Viet Nam.
At the meeting, Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien said strengthening cooperation in the term of sports, culture and tourism between two countries is one of the priorities of Viet Nam government. Culture Centre of Viet Nam in France is the first one overseas and has been invested in order to upgrade.
Minister informed that Viet Nam Prime Minister recently approved the Viet Nam cultural industries development strategy until 2020, vision to 2030. This is a new sector of Viet Nam but is a strength one of France. Minister expected that the Ambassador will support further to develop relationship between Viet Nam and France to new height, especially in human training for cultural industry development.
Ambassador Bertrand Lortholary confirmed that culture is the most importance sector in relationship between two countries. Now, Culture Centre of France in Ha Noi is address to study France people and culture. France government has interested in building Archaeological Museum in Viet Nam and teaching French in Ha Noi Architecture University. The Ambassador expected the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will support the France’s cooperation intentions.
