Tourism Ambassador Jordan Vogt-Roberts plans to promote Viet Nam tourism

(TITC) - At the meeting with Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) on 17 April, in Ha Noi, Tourism Ambassador Jordan Vogt-Roberts informed his plans to promote Viet Nam tourism in the coming time.

Accordingly, he would suggest Hollywood’s filmmakers to visit Viet Nam where they can find inspiration for their films. This would also be an opportunity for Vietnamese film crews to exchange experiences with the foreign partners.

Tourism Ambassador Jordan Vogt-Roberts said he was planning to produce a short video footage introducing Viet Nam’s attractions which featured the beauty of nature and unique culture of Viet Nam. He, therefore, hoped to receive VNAT’s support in proceeding this project.

Addressing at the meeting, VNAT’s Chairman Nguyen Van Tuan highly valued the positive influence of Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts and his movie Kong: Skull Island to Viet Nam tourism. The movie has significantly contributed to the promotion of spectacular sceneries of Viet Nam to a large audience in the world.

Chairman Nguyen Van Tuan informed that Vietnamese travel companies have been developing tours to Ninh Binh, Ha Long and Quang Binh - the filming locations of Kong: Skull Island. Next week, VNAT will collaborate with Vietnam Airlines and the three above provinces to organize a presstrip for 12 international bloggers to visit these filming locations.

He said that VNAT will give support to the film crews of Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts as well as foreign filmmakers to survey popular tourist attractions of Viet Nam. He also invited the Tourism Ambassador to join VNAT’s tourism promotion activities oversea in the coming time.
