The program "Colours of Japan 2018" will be produced by Viet Nam Television in coordination with Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) to bring Vietnamese audiences specific experiences in early days of the new year.

It will be aired on Channel VTV3 every Friday from January 19th as part of the activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Viet Nam - Japan relations.

The program consists of six episodes which last 30 minutes each. It will take the audience to Japanese prefectures of Chiba, Shizuoka, Oita, Nagasaki and Yamanashi to explore breathtaking natural scenery and world-class architecture, such as the biggest stone Buddha statue in Chiba, the largest tea-growing area in Shizuoka, and the longest stone bridge in Oita.

According to Mr Ho Kien, head of the International Cooperation Department under Viet Nam Television, over the past two years, the organization has coordinated with TBS to produce programs on Japanese culture, helping Vietnamese audiences have useful information on their travel.
