Introducing Viet Nam tourism’s potential in Europe

(TITC) – In order to attract more international tourists from Europe to Viet Nam, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) organized roadshows to introduce Viet Nam tourism in Paris-France (27th Sep.), Madrid-Spain (1st Oct.), Milan-Italy (3rd Oct.) and Hamburg-Germany (5th Oct.).

Vietnamese delegation led by Vice Chairman of VNAT Ha Van Sieu, had the participation of representatives of tourism business, airlines such as Hanoitourist, Saigontourist, Vietravel, TTC, Vietnam Airlines and tourism departments including Ha Noi City, Ba Ria- Vung Tau Province, Quang Binh Province.

Speaking at the roadshows, Mr. Ha Van Sieu stressed that, Viet Nam has exempted entry visa for citizens of five Western European countries including the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain since 2015. Viet Nam has been improving service quality in order to meet high demand of European tourists. International tourists to Viet Nam will be served in high-class hotels and resorts under world’s leading brands like Accord, Hilton, Hyatt...

Besides, the delegates attending the event had a chance to enjoy Vietnamese art performances and cuisine.

The roadshow was held in Italy

The roadshows were an opportunity for tourism companies of Viet Nam, France, Spain, Italia and Germany to share information, seek cooperation and promote bilateral visitors exchange.

According to statistics, in the first eight months of 2018, there were about 199 thousand French visitors (increasing 10.6% over the same period of 2017, 48 thousand Spanish visitors (+10.9%), 45 thousand Italian visitors (+15.3%), and 141 thousand German visitors (+7.9%) to Viet Nam.
