VNAT organizes tourism roadshow in Chengdu (China) and signs MoU with Department of Culture and Tourism of Sichuan

(TITC) - In order to enhance visitor exchange and promote tourism cooperation between Viet Nam and China, on 17 May 2019, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) organized roadshow to introduce Viet Nam tourism in Chengdu City (China).  

Vietnamese delegation led by Vice Chairman of VNAT Ha Van Sieu, had the participation of representatives of VNAT departments, tourism businesses including Muong Thanh Group, Sun Group, Vinpearl, Vietravel, Kim Lien, Grand Ho Tram, VCI, Fantasea Vietnam.

The event also had the attendence of Vice Director of Sichuan’s Department of Culture and Tourism, Chinese tourism businesses and press agencies.

At the roadshow, Viet Nam delegation introduced Viet Nam’s tourism potential and new destinations to Chinese audience. In particular, on this occasion, VNAT and Department of Culture and Tourism of Sichuan signed Memorandum of Understanding to enhance visitor exchange, promotion, tourism investment, exchange of experience in tourism product development; encourage strengthening of air connections; cooperation in training and developing human resources; improve quality of tourism services…

Beside the roadshow, Vice Chairman of VNAT Ha Van Sieu also had a bilateral meeting with Department of Culture and Tourism of Sichuan and tourism operators of Sichuan. The two sides updated information and proposed plans in the coming time, and raised difficulties in promoting visitor exchange as well as discussing solutions to strengthen cooperation in 2019 and the following years.

On May 20 and May 23, the VNAT continued to organize roadshows to introduce Viet Nam tourism in Chongqing and Shenzhen (China).
