Introducing Viet Nam tourism in Vladivostok, Russia

(TITC) – Following tourism promotion activities in Moscow, on 27 May 2019, the delegation of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) led by Vice Chairman Ngo Hoai Chung organized roadshow to introduce Viet Nam tourism in Vladivostok City, Russia.

The program attracted the participation of leading aviation, travel and hotel enterprises in Viet Nam such as Sun Group, Vinpearl, FLC Group, Bamboo Airways, Anex Viet Nam, Focus Travel, Premier Phu Quoc and more than 200 delegates from local tourism businesses, media agencies, local newspapers and the Tourism Authority of Vladivostok City.

Attending the event, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Viet – Consul General of Viet Nam in Vladivostok emphasized that the Consulate General  has always been willing to create the best conditions and accompanied the Viet Nam tourism industry to lure more tourists from the Far East to Viet Nam.

At the event, Mr. Shestakov Konstantin Vladimirovich, Director of Primorsky Tourism Department greatly appreciated the attraction of Viet Nam tourism, especially sea tourism with breathtaking beaches, year-round warm and sunny weather like Nha Trang, Mui Ne, Phu Quoc... Only in the first quarter of 2019, there were more than 6,000 visitor arrivals from this locality to Viet Nam, twice as many visitor arrivals as the same period in 2018. Mr. Shestakov expected that with rapid growth, airlines would increase charter flights and gradually open direct routes connecting Viet Nam to Vladivostok. This will become a momentum to boost tourism growth of the two countries, as well as tourist exchange between Viet Nam and Russia.

On this occasion, on 25 May 2019, the Vietnamese delegation visited Pacific International Tourism Expo 2019 and the booth of the Consulate General of Viet Nam at Vladivostok.

Vladivostok is the administrative center of Primorsky (Russia) and also the sister city of Hai Phong City (Viet Nam).
