Roadshows promote Viet Nam tourism in Australia

(TITC) – In order to attract more international tourists from Australia to Viet Nam, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) organized roadshows to introduce Viet Nam tourism in Sydney - New South Wales State (30th Sep.), Melbourne – Victoria State (2nd Oct.), Perth - West Australia State (3rd Oct.).

The event was held in cooperate with Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) and had the participation of representatives of nearly 100 tourism business and media agencies.

At the roadshows, Viet Nam delegation introduced tourism products suitable for Australia tourists including beach tourism, culture tourism, cuisine tourism... in welknown destinations such as Ha Noi City, Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh Province), Da Nang City, Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang Province), and in new destinations named as Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh Provine), Phu Yen Province, Vung Tau City (Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province)...

Australian tourism businesses appreciate that Australian travelers could able to get e-visas quickly, conveniently and simply. Many direct flights between Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney, Melbourne (by Vietnam Airlines) and connecting flights (by Singapore Airlines, Quantas Airways) are favorable conditions for the exchange of visitors between the two countries.

This is the 4th consecutive year VNAT organizes roadshows in Australia. Australia is considered as one of important source markets, Australian tourists have long stays and high spending.

According to statistics, tourists from Australia to Viet Nam in 2018 reached more than 386 thousand arrivals, increasing by 4.5% over 2017. In the first nine months of 2019, there were nearly 292 thousand Australia visitors arrivals to Viet Nam.
