Visit Viet Nam Year 2019 kicks off in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa

(TITC) – On 11 May 2019, in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Province, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the opening ceremony of Visit Viet Nam Year 2019 and launched the 9th  Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival.

Addressing at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam said over the years, Viet Nam’s tourism sector has seen breakthrough development in both quality and quantity with many big projects and prestigious travel trademarks.

Viet Nam’s tourism sector still has great development potential, requiring the joint efforts of localities and the community to lure more foreign visitors.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam affirmed that Khanh Hoa has gradually become one of the most famous destinations in the country.

Mr. Le Duc Vinh – Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that Khanh Hoa has three bays - Van Phong, Nha Trang and Cam Ranh – with Nha Trang recognised one of the world’s most beautiful bays.

National Tourism Year 2019 is an important chance for Viet Nam to introduce cultural values, resources and outstanding tourism products, aiming at attracting more tourists.

In 2019, Khanh Hoa was chosen to host the National Tourism Year 2019 with the theme “Nha Trang - Colours of the Sea”.

Visit Viet Nam Year 2019 includes main activities held in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, and response activities in 14 provinces and cities including: Ha Noi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Binh Thuan, Ho Chi Minh City and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
