{mosimage}India, which has a strength in information technology, will help the Vietnamese hospitality sector redesign its webpage in order to increase the promotion of Viet Nam's image around the world.

This is part of a tourism cooperation programme for the 2005-06 period, which was signed in Ha Noi on October 14 by Deputy Head of the Viet Nam Tourism Administration Pham Tu and Indian Ambassador to Viet Nam Neelakantan Ravi.

Under the agreed programme, the two sides will increase their cooperation in promotion activities, personnel trainning, IT application in providing services and in sharing experiences.

The Indian hospitality sector presented an ambitious plan of coordinating with Viet Nam and other ASEAN member countries to develop a land tour via all ASEAN countries.

This tourism cooperation programme is one of the follow-up steps of the Viet Nam-India bilateral tourism agreement that was inked in 2001
