Quang Nam should ensure best preservation of World Cultural Heritage: Deputy PM

The central province of Quang Nam needs to ensure the best preservation of its UNESCO-recognised World Cultural Heritages, particularly Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary.

(TITC) – On the occasion of the 59th anniversary of Viet Nam's tourism sector (July 9, 1960-2019), on 15 July, in Ha Noi, the ceremony of Viet Nam Tourism Awards 2019 was held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to honoring leading tourism enterprises. The combination of tourism and sports not only creates the most favourable conditions for nations to get closer but also greatly contributes to a peaceful and prosperous world, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam said.
The annual “Crossing the Heritage Lands of the Viet Bac Region” opened at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Tuyen Quang Province on September 9 in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam.
Thai Deputy Prime Minister Tanasak Patimaprakorn expressed his wish that Viet Nam and Thailand would step up their cultural and tourism co-operation while meeting with his Vietnamese counterpart Vu Duc Dam in Ha Noi on July 28.
