Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park flight seeks licensing

A tour to visit Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in the central province of Quang Binh will be available from next month, according to the provincial tourism department.

Additional 44 caves have been discovered in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park in the central province of Quang Binh, raising the total caves found so far in this area to 405, according to the park’s management board.
Authorities of the central province of Quang Binh have decided to pilot tours of some new caves at the World Natural Heritage site Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, dubbed the “Kingdom of Caves”.
Five hundred domestic and foreign tourists successfully conquered Son Doong Cave, which is located in the heart of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in the central coastal province of Quang Binh, from January-August this year.
A total of 33 Vietnamese tourists visited Son Doong Cave in the central province of Quang Binh in the first few months of 2016.
Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in the central province of Quang Binh will keep the entrance fee unchanged until the end of next year to attract more visitors.

The Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee has extended the period of time for exploration tours in Viet Nam’s Son Doong Cave, the largest cave in the world, and has permitted Oxalis Adventure Tours to continue organising tours to the cave in 2016.
