CNN has selected the top five up-and-coming Asia Pacific destinations to visit this fall, including Phu Quoc island off Viet Nam’s southern province of Kien Giang.
Tran Phu Beach in Nha Trang and Bai Dai (Long Beach) on Phu Quoc Island have been listed among the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world by US News & World Report.
The New York-based travel site Thrillist has included Cat Co 2 beach on Cat Ba island, northern Hai Phong City, and Thom beach on Phu Quoc island, southern Kien Giang Province, on its list of the best seaside getaways in Viet Nam.

The number of tourists from European countries to Phu Quoc Island off the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang is expected to rise sharply in the remainder of the year thanks to new air services.
The Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang served over 4.8 million tourists in the first nine months of this year, a rise of 6.7% over the same period last year, including over 279,000 foreigners.
Phu Quoc and Mui Ne beaches of Viet Nam have been listed among 20 most idyllic beaches in Asia by CNN travel.
