Community’s role in preserving and promoting Hoi An heritage’s values

An international conference named “Hoi An Cultural Heritage - 20 years of conservation and sustainable development orientation" took place in Hoi An city, on December 3, as part of activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of UNESCO’s recognition of Hoi An ancient town.

The "Korean Cultural Days in Quang Nam 2019” wrapped up on November 17 in the ancient town of Hoi An, the central province of Quang Nam.
Several artists from the Republic of Korea (RoK) are due to perform in the ancient town of Hoi An during the “RoK Cultural Days in Quang Nam 2019” event, scheduled to take place from November 16 to November 17 at the An Hoi Statue Garden.
Among nearly 1 million Japanese tourists to Vietnam, 60-70 percent of whom come to Hoi An ancient city in the central province of Quang Nam, according to Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Vu Hong Nam.
