RoK tourists to Vietnam top 1 million in first quarter

Tourist arrivals from the Republic of Korea (RoK) to Viet Nam exceeded 1 million in the first quarter of 2019, revealed the Korea Tourism Organisation on May 16.

According to Quang Ninh department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Ninh received 404,000 tourists arrivals in October. Totally in the first 10 months, the province has received 6, 437 mln arrivals, equal to 99% in comparision with the same period of the year 2013.

Over the January-July period, the number of tourists to the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai topped 800,000, up a whopping 25 percent thanks to the locality’s tourism stimulus drive for 2014, reported the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Thua Thien Hue Province attracts over 650 thousand tourist arrivals in the first quarter of 2014
(TITC) – According to Thua Thien Hue’s Deparment of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first quarter of 2014, the province attracted 650,662 tourist arrivals, increasing by 2.3% over the same period last year.
