Representatives from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the Vietnam Women’s Museum met in Hanoi on March 21 to seek cooperative opportunities with travel agencies to attract international visitors to museums.
In the frame of agenda of Statistic capacity building programme, from 5 to 9 March 2012, UNWTO joined with United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and National Statistical Office of Thailand organized the workshop III and regional seminar in Bangkok, Thailand.

Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) is planning to open a representative office in Japan to facilitate its tourism marketing activities and speed up cooperation between travel firms of the two nations. The plan is part of VNAT’s effort to receive one million Japanese tourist arrivals to Vietnam by 2015.
On Feb 22nd 2012, in Hanoi, General Director of the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) Nguyen Van Tuan warmly welcomed the Secretary-General of ASEAN- China Centre, Mr. Ma Ming Quiang.
