West Lake's hidden treasures

This huge lake has a circumference of 17 kilometers. Just 15 minutes from Ha Noi’s Old Quarter, many locals and tourists seeking respite from the busy city make their way to this district.  

Authorities in the capital city have just approved a decision to organise annual traditional dragon boat races between 2019 and 2021.

The Ha Noi Department of Tourism recently held seminars in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang highlighting the city’s tourism opportunities and educating the staff of some 100 local travel agencies on the ‘Magic of Ha Noi’.
Ha Noi will strive to attract nearly 21.2 million tourists in 2016, up 6.7% against 2015, with 3.8 million international arrivals, up 12% year on year, and 17.4 million domestic visitors, up 5.9%.

The West Lake, which is dubbed as the lung of Hanoi, will be turned into an attractive cultural and spiritual tourist site.
