Viet Nam among world’s budget-destinations to travel to before you turn 30

On the World Tourism Day (September 27), Cutacut decided to make a list of budget-friendly destinations you can travel to without drilling a hole through your pocket.

Message from Mr. Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of World Tourism Organization: Tourism is today the 3rd largest export industry in the world after chemicals and fuels. It brings hope, prosperity and understanding to so many lives and livelihoods all over the world. 
Thailand and Qatar have been selected to be the official host countries for World Tourism Day (WTD) in 2016 and 2017 respectively, at the 21st UNWTO General Assembly in Medellín, Colombia (17 September 2015).
(TITC) - On 26 September 2015, in Ha Noi, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism celebrated World Tourism Day 2015 under the theme “One Billion Tourists, One Billion Opportunities” with the technical support of the Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism Capacity Development (ESRT) Program funded by the European Union (EU-ESRT Project).
Under the theme ‘One billion tourists, one billion opportunities’, World Tourism Day 2015 emphasizes the impact of the sector on economic growth, job creation and development.
(TITC) – Under the theme “One Billion Tourists, One Billion Opportunities”, this year’s world tourism day (Sept. 27th) aims to honor tourism industry as well as its benefits, growth opportunities from the billions of tourists traveling over the world.
The Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has called for strengthened activities to respond to World Tourism Day (September 27), with the aim to raise public awareness of the position and role of the sector.
(TITC) - On 26 September 2014, at the Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and the Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism Capacity Development (ESRT) Program funded by the European Union (EU Project) held a celebration of World Tourism Day (WTD) 2014 themed “Tourism and Community development”.

27th of September marks the United Nations´ calendar day highlighting tourism, a sector that is driving socioeconomic growth and development all over the world. On World Tourism Day 2013, dedicated to “Tourism and Water – Protecting Our Common Future” in line with the International Year of Water Cooperation, stakeholders called for greater global efforts in water preservation.  
A series of activities for World Tourism Day with the theme “Tourism and Water: Protecting Our Common Future” will be organized in Quang Ninh from now to September 27.
