Vietnam’s tourism products introduced at Hong Kong travel expo

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, budget airlines Jetstar Pacific and Vietjet Air, and Da Nang’s tourism promotion centre are introducing Vietnam’s outstanding tourism products at the 33rd International Travel Expo in China’s Hong Kong (ITE-Hong Kong 2019) from June 13-16.

Ho Chi Minh City is diversifying tourism products and services to realise its goal of welcoming 8.5 million international tourists in 2019, a year-on-year rise of 14 percent.  
(TITC) – On 4 October, 2018, in Can Tho City, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism organized the seminar on Developing tourism products of the Mekong Delta.
Localities in the western region of the Mekong Delta need to foster regional cooperation to create highly competitive tourism products, officials have said.   
With various tourism products like shopping, cuisine and river cruise tours, Ho Chi Minh City attracted nearly 4.4 million foreign visitors in the first seven months of this year. 
Representatives from local authorities in the northwestern, central agencies on tourism and travel enterprises gathered at a workshop in Lao Cai on December 16 to discuss measures for strengthening linkage to promote and develop tourism products which are characteristic of the Northwest.
The capital city plans to welcome 30 million visitors, including 5.7 million foreigners, by 2020, according to the municipal Department of Tourism.
(TITC) – From 9 to 13 March 2016, International Tourism Fair ITB Berlin 2016 will be held at CityCube Berlin Convention Centre (Berlin, Germany). The Vietnamese delegation led by Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism with some localities, tourism associations, tourism enterprises and artists will attend the event.
Ha Noi will strive to attract nearly 21.2 million tourists in 2016, up 6.7% against 2015, with 3.8 million international arrivals, up 12% year on year, and 17.4 million domestic visitors, up 5.9%.
Northern Hai Phong city has recently recognised two routes and six destinations as local notable tourist attractions, which will receive priority in investment to develop relevant tourism products and services.
Cho Lach district, the largest fruit cultivation area in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre, has created several tourism products after three years of implementing its tourism development plan in the 2012-15 period, according to the district's People's Committee.
