VNAT and Discovery cooperate in Vietnam tourism promotion

– On May 10, Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) had a meeting with Mr. Andrew White, Senior Director international Ad Sales Growth (Discovery Inc.) to discuss the cooperation in promoting Vietnam tourism.

According to Mr. Andrew White, Discovery Inc. is a mass media company, headquarter in the United States. Discovery covers over 220 countries and territories with many well-known channels such as Discovery Channel, Food Network, Travel Channel, Animal Planet, Science Channel, Discovery Kids... He expressed his wish to cooperate with VNAT in promoting Vietnam tourism.

Sharing about the development of Vietnam tourism, VNAT’s Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu said that in recent years, Vietnam tourism has grown very rapidly in number. Vietnam welcomed 18 million international visitor arrivals in 2019 and according to the strategy of tourism development aiming to reach 50 million by 2030.

In addition to the goal of growth in the number of visitors, Vietnam tourism industry is aiming for increasing quality with the improvement of tourism quality as well as the positioning of Vietnam tourism brand.

The tourism marketing strategy has set the goal of building and promoting the Vietnam tourism brand with different, unique, quality and competitive tourism products.

Through innovation in content and methods of communication and promotion, Vietnam tourism industry wishes to tell the story of Vietnam with real experiences, satified and high quality tourism services.

Two sides will continue to detail discuss the cooperation in implementing marketing strategies and telling the story of Vietnam to the world.
