– It is the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam on immigration in the new situation, Office of the Government informed on October 19, 2021.

– On October 14, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam chaired a working session with leaders of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOSCT), Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Health to deliberate on gradual resumption of domestic tourism and pilot reopening inbound tourism. 
- In a document released by the Government Office on September 10, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam informed that the Prime Minister has agreed with proposal of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the pilot plan to welcome international visitors to Phu Quoc, Kien Giang.
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has urged the National Council for Cultural Heritage to focus more on the preservation and promotion of relics to make them a source of strength for national development.​
The central province of Quang Nam needs to ensure the best preservation of its UNESCO-recognised World Cultural Heritages, particularly Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary.
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam requested relevant ministries to soon set the schedules for this year’s upcoming public holidays and school summer break to boost domestic travel demand.
– On the occasion of the 59th anniversary of Viet Nam's tourism sector (July 9, 1960-2019), on 15 July, in Ha Noi, the ceremony of Viet Nam Tourism Awards 2019 was held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to honoring leading tourism enterprises. The ceremony had the attendance of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam.
– On 11 May 2019, in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Province, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the opening ceremony of Visit Viet Nam Year 2019 and launched the 9th  Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival.
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam chaired a tourism forum in Ha Noi on December 6 to discuss major measures to develop high-quality and sustainable tourism in Viet Nam by 2030.
– On 29 March 2018, the sixth Viet Nam International Travel Mart - VITM Hanoi 2018 officially kicked off in Ha Noi. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Head of the State Steering Committee on Tourism attended the opening ceremony.
