The Linh Ung – Bai But Pagoda, located in Son Tra peninsula in Da Nang city, was inaugurated in July 2010 after six years of construction. A highlight of the pagoda complex is the 67-metre white Bodhisattva Guanyin statute standing atop a lotus-shaped platform. The pagoda has been a favoured spiritual destination for both domestic and foreign Buddhist followers and visitors for years.

The Son Tra Peninsula is considered an elysium in the center of Da Nang city. Travelling on bendy roads, rolling around the mountain foot, tourists will surely be impressed by Linh Ung Pagoda where the earth meets the sky as well as by the simple but poetic Son Tra lighthouse.
More than 200 representatives from travel agencies in Germany started a familiarisation (FAM) trip surveying tourist destinations services in Da Nang, including Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountain), Linh Ung Pagoda and various beaches.
– Recently, the number of cruise tourists visiting Da Nang increased significantly. Therefore, the city should set up best solutions to maintain this cruise segment.
Linh Ung Pagoda is located in an area known locally as Bai But or Buddha’s Sanctuary on Son Tra peninsula. It is rated as the most magnificent work of this kind in the central city of Da Nang , in terms of architectural and artistic value.
