The responsible restart of tourism is underway around the world as growing numbers of destinations ease COVID-19 related travel restrictions and adapt to the new reality. According to the latest analysis from the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), 40% of all destinations worldwide have now eased the restrictions they placed on international tourism in response to COVID-19.

As the current outbreak of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) continues to develop, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) are committed to working together in guiding the travel and tourism sectors’ response to COVID-19.

The United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) has picked out Viet Nam as one of the world's 10 fastest-growing tourism destinations.
This year, World Tourism Day highlights the need for investment in disruptive digital technologies that can help foster an environment for innovation and entrepreneurship in tourism.
– From 11 and 12 December 2017, Chairman of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan led the Vietnamese delegation to attend the conference UNWTO/UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture held in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
Viet Nam ranks seventh in the list of the world’s top 20 fastest growing travel destinations, which was recently announced by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

The 1st UNWTO Global Conference on Wine Tourism, to be held in the Kakheti wine region from 7-9 September 2016, was officially launched by UNWTO and the Georgian National Tourism Administration on the occasion of the World Travel Market in London.
