Dak Nong Geopark in the Central Highlands province of the same name covers an area of more than 4,700 km2, stretching over six of the eight districts of the province with 65 sites of natural heritage, geomorphology, including craters, volcanic caves and waterfalls.

In the central region of Viet Nam, a land of great heritage, visitors will feel as if they are travelling back in time to the glorious days of ancient dynasties, where unique natural wonders create scenes unlike anywhere else in the world.   
Paperwork is being prepared for Ba Be-Na Hang natural heritage site in the northern provinces of Bac Kan and Tuyen Quang to apply for UNESCO recognition as a world heritage site.
Under the theme ‘One billion tourists, one billion opportunities’, World Tourism Day 2015 emphasizes the impact of the sector on economic growth, job creation and development.
- Cultural and natural heritage is an important element to develop tourism, conversely, tourism also contributes to embellishing and promoting heritage values.  
Vietnam is making every effort in implementing the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage (ICH), showing its commitment to preserving and promoting cultural and natural heritage.
