Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism Capacity Development Programme
(ESRT), aims to enhance and strengthen management capacity of provincial tourism
administrators and also to develop human resources for the tourism industry in
the long term. Two more training courses shall be delivered in the next annual work
plans of the ESRT Programme.

Malaysia, Mr. Dang Vinh Nham, Director of Personnel Department of Vietnam
National Administrator of Tourism said that “Human resource plays an important
role in the tourism industry in Vietnam, therefore we highly appreciate the
great support from the European Union as well as the ESRT Programme on this
activity to improve both skill and knowledge of our tourism officials”.
training course will take place in Taylor University, Malaysia and focuses on
the following topics: Responsible/Sustainable Tourism, Sustainable
Regional/Spatial Planning in Tourism, Tourism Service and Quality Management,
Product Development and Event Management in Tourism.
