On August 31st, 2014, 20 tourism administrators of the provincial Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to participate in a tailor-made training course on Responsible Tourism Management which is funded by the ESRT Programme.
The delegations will study in Taylor’s University, Malaysia. The University has arranged Ruemz hotel as the accommodation for Vietnamese tourism administrators’ delegation. This is a modern hotel of the school which facilitates the living and studying of not only its staff and students but also Vietnamese participants.

The content of the course will focus on responsible tourism management, including four topics: Responsible/Sustainable Tourism (Environmental Protection/Cultural Heritage), Sustainable Regional/Spatial Planning in Tourism, Tourism Service and Quality Management and Product Development and Event Management in Tourism.

Associate Professor - Dr. Toney K.Thomas introduced the topic: "Responsible/Sustainable Tourism".
In the morning of September 1st, 2014, the delegation had a meeting with Dr. Paolo Mura and Toney K.Thomas in the hall to learn about the university, the program and learning time. After the overall introduction, the delegation studied the first topic: “Responsible/Sustainable Tourism”.

On September 6th, 2014, the delegation will study at the community-based tourism destination of Banhuris, Sepang.
