The meeting was attended by 20 members of VTCB, including representatives of several VNAT departments, a representative of General Department of Vocational Training under MOLISA, and a representative of MOET. At the meeting were presented the Project for revision and supplement of functions, duties and authorities of VTCB to transform VTCB to the Vietnam Tourism Professional Board (VTPB). The proposed long-term VTPB Development Plan and the proposed VTPB Business Plan for the period 2015 - 2018 were also presented at the meeting.

After listening to opinions of VTCB members, Ha Van Sieu - VTCB Chairman, VNAT Vice Chairman, concluded the meeting with a detailed work plan to the end of 2015, which was designed to consult the VNAT and the MCST the two important work categories, namely issuance of the Vietnam Tourism Occupational Standards and establishment of the Vietnam Tourism Professional Board.
