On May 28th, 2014, the Consultation Workshop on Regional Tourism Plan of South East Region was held by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. The Workshop was conducted by the Institute for Tourism Development and Research (ITDR) with the technical support of the ESRT Programme.

On May 22nd, 2014, the technical workshop on development of Vietnam Tourism Annual Report 2013 took place in Hanoi. This workshop was conducted by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) with technical support from the ESRT Programme.

On May 15, 2014, the Training Workshop for Tourist Information Centre Operations organised by the ESRT Programme was officially opened in Hanoi.

The ESRT Programme is very delighted to introduce the Vietnam Tourist Information Centre Guide. Vietnam Tourist Information Centre Guide is designed as a practical resource to assist organisations interested in starting-up a Tourist Information Centre in Vietnam.

The ESRT Programm is very delighted to introduce the Executive Summary of the Training Needs Assessment of Vietnam Tourism Industry. This Assessment was developed based on the situation and demand of current Vietnam tourism industry as tourism is an ever-changing sector in terms of customer expectations, markets, products, technologies and services and anticipating and coping with these changes is a crucial challenge for tourism in Vietnam.

On May 6, 2014, the Training Workshop for Hotel Management Trainers was opened by the ESRT Programme in Hanoi.
