On May 29th, 2013, the second meeting of the Tourism Advisory Board (TAB) took place in Hanoi which was convened to discuss about the TAB’s organisational and operational procedures.

On May 16th 2013, a three-day training course on Tourist Information Centre (TIC) operations took place in Hoi An; a joint collaboration between the European Union-funded ESRT Programme, UNESCO and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Quang Nam.

Tourism Trade Fairs are a well-established method of developing trade contacts and relations as a meeting point for the tourism trade, market place and source of inspiration. Vietnam Tourism Association is organising in conjunction with Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and Hanoi City People’s Committee, the Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) at the International Exhibition Center in Hanoi from 18-21 April 2013.
