List of activities in July 2015 of the EU-funded ESRT Programme.

The 10th newsletter of the EU-funded ESRT Programme was published in June 2015.

The final round of the “Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism” Contest co-organised by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), the ESRT Programme, Thanh Nien Newspaper and the Saigon College of Art, Culture and Tourism (Saigonact) took place on June 14th, 2015 and was broadcasted live on VTV9.

A symposium “Towards a new era in Tourism Master Development Planning” was held in the morning of 10 June 2015 by the Institute for Tourism Development and Research (ITDR) in collaboration with the ESRT Programme.

In accordance with the Decision No. 1935/QD-BVHTTDL dated 11 June 2015 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, an awarding ceremony was held on Monday morning, 12 June 2015 by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to confer the Medal for the Course of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Bryan Fornari (Irish nationality), First Secretary of the European Union Delegation to Vietnam, for his great contribution to the course of culture, sports and tourism.

A workshop on development of tourism products along the highway Hanoi - Lao Cai was held on 5 June 2015 in Sapa, Lao Cai Province by the ESRT Programme in collaboration with Lao Cai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The first training workshop for hotel management trainers according to Vietnam Tourism Occupational Standards (VTOS) was held from 4 to 6 June 2015 in Hanoi by the ESRT Programme.
