The Dien Bien Phu historical relic is of special value to tourism, experts said at a March 13 workshop in the northwestern province of Dien Bien which was held by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and the provincial authorities.

FAM Trip to Northwest Provinces
In the framework of the FAM trips to 8 North West Provinces, from February 16 to February 22, 2014, the Vietnam Tourism Association in collaboration with the ESRT Programme will organise a FAM trip to Hoa Binh, Dien Bien, Son La, Lai Chau. There has been a previous FAM trip that took place in three provinces of Phu Tho, Ha Giang, Yen Bai in 2013.
