Following a collaborative process facilitated by international tourism experts from the ESRT Programme which is funded by the European Union, the three Central Coast Provinces namely Thua Thien - Hue, Quang Nam and Da Nang have unanimously chosen a destination umbrella brand with the theme "The Essence of Vietnam".

On July 31st, 2014, the Training Workshop on Growing Your Business Responsibly in the Accommodation Sector organised by the ESRT Programme took place in Thien Cam, Ha Tinh province.

The Dien Bien Phu historical relic is of special value to tourism, experts said at a March 13 workshop in the northwestern province of Dien Bien which was held by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and the provincial authorities.
